KENTEQ

Kenteq is the Dutch National Centre of Expertise on Vocational Education, Training and Labour Market for the technical field. Kenteq is a foundation and has been assigned by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science to develop the qualification structure for VET for the branches electrical engineering, electronics, ICT, metal and installation techniques in the Netherlands.

Kenteq is also responsible for making sure that there are enough training companies which can provide high quality practical training. Kenteq employs about 300 people, of whom some 100 consultants provide daily advice, support and counselling services to the training companies. Kenteq also has many experiences in developing teaching materials (books, software and process models), (further) training of teachers, company trainers and skilled workers as well as examination and certification. Kenteq fulfils a bridging function between education and organised business and industry.
